MICHELLE - SYNCOPATE [Video]

The New York City-based collective MICHELLE return with their heavenly funk and R&B-tinged new single, ‘SYNCOPATE’. In true MICHELLE style, it’s a supernal, soulful track you’ll struggle to sit still to, centering on the theme of desire. MICHELLE expanded on this saying, “communicating your desire can feel vulnerable, so we wanted to have some fun with that and show our funky and seductive side. It really feels like we're hitting the street for the first time by putting this song out into the world.”

After forming the collective in 2018, MICHELLE, comprised of Layla Ku, Sofia D’Angelo, Charlie Kilgore, Emma Lee, Julian Kaufman and Jamee Lockard, blend genres to create a crooning, blissful summer sound. Accompanied by a fun video which sees the collective try to relax during a heatwave and explore the city, the release of ‘SYNCOPATE’ coincides with the announcement of their new album, AFTER DINNER WE TALK DREAMS, which is set to be released on January 28 2022.
