Disclosure feat. Kehlani & Syd - Birthday [Video]

Disclosure borrows Kehlani and Syd’s honeyed vocals for dreamy dance track ‘Birthday’.

A summer lived in lockdown has got us feeling a little shut-in. Electronic brother duo Disclosure channel the claustrophobic atmosphere that comes with living between the same four walls for months on end in their toy-town based video. The song’s wistful lyrics express a yearning to reconnect with an old flame and Kehlani and Syd’s silky voices are perfect together. In the tune’s visual the two singer’s sit, Alice in Wonderland style, in separate toy houses, too small for their fully-grown occupants. Inside, the artists while away the hours until they have an excuse to call one another on each other’s birthdays, unknowing that they both have exactly the same intention. Cute!
