July 7 - Waistline [Audio]
July 7 is an emerging artist that’s been creeping onto our radar quite a bit, having featured him in our Vol.1 and Vol.3 DISCOVER Picks playlists this year already. Releasing his sixth single of 2020 entitled ‘Waistline’, another enticing offering fusing elements of dancehall with futuristic R&B.
Hailing from Manchester, July 7 is an incredible talent and one who has mastered the art of music across all it’s forms from production and songwriting to engineering. Production wise, he’s collaborated with the likes of Young Thug, Travis Scott and also Sango whom specifically, is recognisable in the sound direction of his music.
Speaking on the new release, July 7 shared that, “Waistline is a sensual, playful song that focuses on expression and having fun. It’s me dabbling with my Jamaican heritage and putting my own twist on things whilst keeping it hot and luxurious."
