Following recent releases such as edgy R&B jam ‘Like It’ and Afro-disco inspired ‘Spend Some Time’ (featuring Wande Coal), Ghanaian-American artist Amaarae has just released ‘Leave Me Alone’, a grooving bop that boasts a bouncy dancehall inspired Afrobeat production. The stripped-back instrumentals allow Amaarae’s ethereal, sultry voice to do the work as she effortlessly slips back and forth between rapping and singing.

Amaarae’s debut EP ‘Passionfruit Summers’ was released in 2017, introducing the world to her experimental, genre-blending music - inspired by her cross-cultural upbringing and experience. With a luscious mix of African drum-beats, Neo-Soul and Alté, The singer-songwriter has steadily garnered a loyal fanbase on the African continent and beyond and has already played a whole host of shows in Lagos, London, LA and New York.
