Upcoming artist Downtown Kayoto releases his second single of the year ‘Feels Like,’ an alternative hip hop offering, exploring the different effects on our own perspective of existence. Speaking on the release of ‘Feels Like,’ Downtown Kayoto explains that the song is semi confessional and explores many avenues such as race, culture, expectations and the impact these themes have on our mentality. “The hook phrase ‘tell me what it feels like?’ is a springboard question for the listener to continue and finish upon personal reflection,” shares Downtown Kayoto. “‘Feels Like’ is about expression of self and confession, including the smaller fragments of personality that subsequently makes up the psyche.”
