Can we just take a moment to breathe and see the latest feature of Christopher John Rogers SS20 collection for Paper magazine. This editorial is a beauty to the eyes. With the use of the centrepiece being the black model, like a trophy with her afro as her crown. The perfect balance of strength of each woman, standing alone and united, like Charlie's Angels or I should really say Christopher's Angels.

I mean this young New York based designer, originally from Louisiana, is someone to keep your eyes on. His understanding of colour tones to silhouettes excites me. He designs for all women of all skin tones and shapes, proudly celebrating women of colour. Style icons such as Rhianna, Lizzo, Zendaya, Jameela Jamil and Michelle Obama are fans of his work.

Speaking to Mario Abad for Paper magazine, Christopher John Rogers shares his desire for how his clothes make women feel, “I'm not cool, I'm just me. I just want to be your friend, and so hopefully when you put on my clothes you feel like I'm hugging you, or I'm like, 'You look sickening, bitch!'"

Loving his personality and his style of thinking. Christopher John Rogers is a name to remember and he makes me want to put one of his dresses on so I can feel like he's giving me a big hug :-) Who else is missing hugs right now? Grab a dress in your wardrobe, give it a big hug and dream of a Christopher John Rogers dress… This will make my day.
