Gaidaa - Falling Higher [Lyric Video]

Dutch-Sudanese singer-songwriter Gaidaa makes her debut release of 2020 with ‘Falling Higher’ and it’s an absolute vibe. The stucatto, bossa nova-inspired instrumental produced by Sam Traxx, immediately sets the tone for something sleek and different, accompanied by Gaidaa’s effortlessly smooth vocal delivering a mix of soul and funk.

Gaidaa’s career in music kicked off with her singing backing vocals for Masego however, with the release of her debut single ‘Morning Blue’ last year, she soon become the spotlight talent. Released in association with the #BlueForSudan campaign in honour of protest victim Mohamed Mattar, Gaidaa went on to deliver a COLORS performance of ‘Morning Blue’ which then caught the attention of many across the globe.
