Teasing her forthcoming EP, West-London’s Kyra drops another luscious neo-soul single ‘blossom spring’. Released hot on the heels of her wistful tune ‘after the love’, ‘blossom spring’ is a tender and suitably delicate single that makes for a tranquil listening experience, where Kyra’s velvet voice flies over shimmering strings and trilling backing vocals, while keeping a mellow pace with a warm, lulling baseline and languid beats.

Kyra has soared following the success of her debut project ‘Xanadu’, powering through a successful spate of performances and headline shows, including a top spot for BBC Music Introducing’s ‘futuretense series’ at The Southbank Centre and a sold-out immersive experience, complete with a live band and visually dazzling rooms. Kyra’s rise has also led her to some strong collaborations with a host of flourishing talent, most recently Nesta, Knucks and GuiltyBeatz on their track ‘Jah Knows’.

Speaking on ‘blossom spring’, Kyra reflects, “I’ve always been enchanted by cherry blossoms which are a symbolic flower of the spring, a time of renewal and the fleeting nature of life.” She adds, “Amidst the pain of loss and grief, I find joy in nature’s intricate details as the cycle of life continues, allowing us to feel connected with loved ones who are no longer in the physical realm.”
