TeeZee - NOK'D feat. Deto Black [Video]

After a stream of exciting music, Nigeria’s ‘Fresh Prince of Lasgidi’ - TeeZee returns with yet another explosive track ‘NOK’D’ featuring Lagod based rapper Deto Black, accompanied by a stylish and vibrant music video which draws inspiration from classic Nollywood movies.

The bouncy offering, taken from  Teezee’s upcoming EP, Arrested By Love, taps into the artist’s unique combination of culturally-nuanced, melody-infused rap style. Speaking on the track, TeeZee shared:

“In Lagos, ‘knocked’ is the equivalent to what ‘tapped’ is in the UK. They will be like “they dress crazy, they’re insane” because of the style, the fashion, and the sound of the music. Just being different. Deto & I epitomise what conservative Nigerians view as ‘knocked’, and all of the knocked generation."
