FAVE - Baby Riddim [Video]

After the release of her widely celebrated single ‘Baby Riddim’ Nigerian pop star FAVE drops her brand new EP Riddim 5. The EP is an exciting amalgam of her influences, fusing Afropop melodies with tropical Caribbean sounds and her fondness of R&B and Hip Hop.

The 5-track EP features production from some of Nigeria’s most dynamic talent, including Krizbeatz, Phyl, Sazy Afroshii and Damie. The album is doused in dreamy beats and FAVE’s sultry vocals. “The sounds in my head that want to come out are finally getting the chance,” FAVE shares in a statement about the new record. “For me it’s not the number of songs out there but the number of songs I get to create over time, and this is because of a ranging number of reasons – my favourite one being that I get to see different sides of me. I’m never slacking on a chance to unlock a phase.”

After peaking on charts and Spotify streams skyrocketing through to the millions, we can only expect more success and refined music from FAVE this year.
