A new collaboration between Baby Keem and his elder cousin, Kendrick Lamar sees the pair explore the meaning of legacy and success. Produced by Keem himself, with assistance from Cardo, Outtatown, Roselilah, Jasper Harris, Frankie Bash and Deats, ‘family ties’ serves as the first single from Baby Keem’s forthcoming album ‘The Melodic Blue’.

The high-powered track is bold and audacious, with a deep brooding reflection concealed amongst the overt energy. ‘family ties’ provides an insight into the relationships and experiences that have defined and accented Keem throughout his life, with the accompanying video matching the ominous and raw emotions with dynamic visuals and endless details.

‘family ties’ is Kendrick Lamar’s first feature in three years and the first collaboration with Baby Keem.
