Playing homage to her West Coast and Latin roots with her latest feel-good anthem that’s reminiscent of 90s G-Funk classics, is American singer and multi-instrumentalist Destiny Rogers.  Produced by long-time collaborators, The Stereotypes, who co-wrote the track alongside Destiny and guest feature Kalan.FrFr, ‘West Like’ is definitely the sound of summer.

West Like’ incorporates slow hypnotic grooves with synthesizer-driven melodies and that all important bouncy bass line, think Snoop Dog’s ‘Doggy Style’ infused with 2021 pop. In the accompanying video, Destiny can be seen enjoying the stereotypical Californian joys: palm trees, red cups and parties. The good life.
