Amber Mark - Competition [Video]

A true visionary, Amber Mark is no stranger to creating breath-taking visuals for her tracks that are choreographed with fine detail and attention. Her most recent release ‘Competition’ does not fall short. Musically, it boasts a funky bass line and an expertly layered twinkle of jazz-like piano amongst her enchanting vocals.

Co-directed by Amber herself and Cara Stricker, the video is a stunning compilation of herself and dancers moving together in landscapes that complement the movements and outfits, taking co-ordination to the next level. It features a girl, likely representing her younger self, who reinforces the song's powerful message of self-belief and community-driven attitudes.

On the track Amber said, “I hold this one so close to my heart. ‘Competition’ comes from a state of always comparing yourself to others and how ruthless that competitive nature can be towards yourself and towards others. The song is a reminder of how much stronger we are together.”
