Rising star NAYANA IZ has released her first solo taster this year alongside a visually stunning music video directed by Liam S. Gleeson. Blending influences from jazz and rap, ‘Breaking Point’ is an honest confession that uses a minimalist approach to announce a new chapter in this singer/rapper’s career. Understated piano, effortlessly smooth guitar and the glimmer of a harp are expertly layered amongst NAYANA’s compelling vocals and hushed verses.

'Breaking Point’ is just the start of this new era and plays as a good omen of what’s to come as NAYANA IZ moves towards her most experimental and unadulterated sounds to tackle themes of identity, race, spirituality and mystification. The visuals provide an insight to an artist who’s tenaciousness in her authenticity has proved to be a winning formula.
