Evann McIntosh - NOBODY ELSE [Video]

17-year-old rising star Evann McIntosh announces their new album ‘Character Development’ and drops cute new single ‘NOBODY ELSE’ alongside charming visuals.

Mixing a bedroom pop and indie vibe with R&B inspired rhythms and grooves, ‘NOBODY ELSE’ is a heartwarming bop (a characteristic of Evann’s style), which playfully blends genres and centres on the excitement of a healthy, monogamous relationship. The release arrives with a fittingly upbeat and intimate music video from the brilliant Loris Russier (Q, Audrey Nuna) that showcases Evann's endearing personality and impressive moves as they boogie amid the rooms and gardens of a stately home. Importantly, to quote the video’s YouTube description: “NO GOLDFISH WERE HARMED DURING THE MAKING OF THIS SEXY VIDEO.”

Reflecting on the single, Evann explains, "'NOBODY ELSE' is about commitment and being very proud of your relationship with somebody. It is about monogamy and the idea of there being one person for everybody, and that you've found yours."

Written and recorded primarily in the breakout star's suburban Kansas bedroom, Evann’s forthcoming album, ‘Character Development’, promises 13 tracks in total that’ll mix dark alt-pop and dreamy R&B with streaks of hip-hop, jazz, and funk, as it grapples with growth and evolution, gender identity and sexuality, freedom and self-expression. "This record is all about growth and change," Evann explains. "I'm always evolving, and this album is the sound of that transformation, of one version of myself giving way to the next." The project will be out on August 27th.
