As she announces her new album ‘Moments In Between’, dreamy R&B artist Ruth B. releases her new single ‘Situation’, alongside some calming and gorgeously styled visuals.

The first thing that hits you about Ruth B. is her insanely silky voice. Wrapped in a sleepy lo-fi aesthetic potent enough to lull you into a sweet stupor, the Ethiopian-Canadian artist makes music that effortlessly hits all the right notes. Like her soft and sombre ballad ‘Dirty Nikes’ that we just couldn’t get enough of, ‘Situation’ sees Ruth B. getting comfortable with tricky emotions as she deals with the frustration and uncertainty of an unlabelled romance. The track’s music-video, directed by Annie Bercy (Ciara, OSHUN), sees Ruth B. alone in her bedroom, teenager-like, writing in and ripping pages from her diary, waiting by the phone and fretting over her next move.

Take it from Ruth that you’ll love it, "'Situation' is maybe my favorite song I've ever written," (she wrote the track with Ido Zmishlany). “It sounds so much like me, and where I am now versus a few years ago."
