NYC-based collective MICHELLE drops soulful track ‘Mess U Made’, taken from their upcoming album AFTER DINNER WE TALK DREAMS. Featuring the hallmarks of the sextet’s artistry from the layered vocal harmonies to the vibrant percussion, the track weaves a hazy soundscape led by the vocal prowess of four vocalists underpinned by intricate production skills. The song which is accompanied by an intimate living room session-type visual reflects the predominantly POC and queer act’s refined musicality.

Born-and-bred New Yorkers, MICHELLE – consisting of Sofia D'Angelo, Julian Kaufman, Charlie Kilgore, Layla Ku, Emma Lee and Jamee Lockard – have gone from strength to strength since forming in 2018, and this latest foray is an indication of their genre-hopping sensibilities.
