Here to serve the worlds musical community, the sunglasses brand derived from underground music culture, Sub Sun and Peckhams trend setting club night and record label Rhythm Section International have joined forces to create a collaboration fit for the community that inspired both.

Sub Sun’s aim is to look at sunglasses in a fresh way, reimagining and strengthening the relationship between your shades and music. Influenced by styles spotted on the dance floor and album artwork, each model is truly pulled from the influential people of the music scene. “To kickstart our collaboration series with trend setting record label Rhythm Section...was the ideal match up,” shares Sub Sun. They describe the style of this collection as a unique workers frame of the past, transformed into a modern-day delight.

The aim of the new frame is to be practical and accessible in all situations while remaining effortlessly stylish and modern. Rhythm Section founder and DJ Bradley Zero comments on the fact that the style was really pulled from a love for vintage sunglasses and the way in which the small, circular framed glasses became his signature look. However, finding it impossible to find the perfect modern day frame within the same family of the vintage signatures, this is what he created with Sub Sun. “This collab was a perfect time to reimagine this forgotten style- while bringing it up to date with a few custom, contemporary tweaks,” shares Bradley Zero.
