South London’s Mya K shows hard work pays off in her shimmering R&B single ‘Moves’.
It’s great to see that Mya’s back after a two year hiatus following her debut single, neo-soul ballad ‘Fall Apart’. The emerging silky-voiced singer, who currently has just a sprinkle of singles available, flicks between rapping and singing, merging her chatty, stream-of-consciousness lyrics with smooth R&B beats. In ‘Moves’, Mya attests to making her dreams come true and getting herself where she needs to be. Peppered with fun, glitchy bass notes and tightened up by its crisp production, the single is a seriously mellow and catchy taste of what Mya’s capable of, we look forward to seeing where she ends up!
