Ghanaian-American artist Amaarae releases her latest single ‘FANCY’ and also announces the forthcoming release of her debut full length project, ‘The Angel You Don’t Know.’
Delivering an anthem to fuel us all with a dose of empowerment, ‘FANCY’ is the track needed to get your energy going in the right direction. Its “all about being a bad bitch,” states Amaarae in a statement about the track. “That joint that you put on when you’re getting ready to go out, when you're getting ready to ace that exam, to ask for that promotion, do that job interview, go on that date that you know you are about to dress to kill for!” Whatever the occasion, ‘FANCY’ is a celebration of self expression and confidence.
The music video sees Amaarae turning things all the way up, serving a bodacious and vibrant visual, oozing both sexy and playfulness throughout. Check out the official music video below and you can also stream the single on Spotify.
