The Sundrop Garden, styled as ((( O ))), yesterday released her new album ‘((( 2 )))’.
Inspired by the environment and the fight for a sustainable planet, ((( O )))’s second album is a dense forest of soulful electronic sounds, exploring the natural world and our impact on it, featuring appearances from FKJ, Darius and Please Wait. The innovative South-Asian artist, previously known as June Marieezy, crafts her ecologically minded music from the comfort of a solar-powered treehouse studio in the Philippine jungle, where her only boss is the Sun. ((( O ))), who changed her name following a big shift in perspective, has promised to release a single track, ‘a moondrop’, every full moon, and an album, or a sundrop, every year.
((( O ))) describes ‘((( 2 )))’ as an album about “duality, physical movement, sustainability, observation of self & the world around us and natural innovation with the gifts nature gives.”
