Rimon - What They Called Me [EP Visual]
Watch Rimon’s newly released stunning and introspective visuals to accompany her sophomore EP ‘I Shine, U Shine’.
The short film stands as a symbolic representation of Rimon’s psyche and her journey towards self-acceptance. Exploring the intense and stormy relationships of her past and tentatively meditating on unspoken childhood trauma, Rimon shows us how she came to claim her name, her story and her identity with pride. It’s a beautiful and artistic debut foray into film, with magnificent styling and striking cinematography that give the project an ultra-cool, big budget feel. The short’s narrative is guided by poetic narration and expressive choreography which take a deep-dive into the personalities of Rimon and her former lovers; exploring the complexities of their identities and taking time to reveal the psychological motivations behind their risky actions.
