Herizen - Hellboy [Video]

Genre-defying queen of cool Herizen is back with her latest release ‘Hellboy,’ with an all purple punk-pop style video to match.

Herizen’s music is a magical mixture of experimental electronic alt-pop, R&B and a healthy dose of distortion. ‘Hellboy’ is a darkly captivating track. Its reverb-heavy guitar riffs lend a distinctly grunge-rock feel, while the video replicates a much cooler version of the futuristic, digitised aesthetic of noughties music vids. The enchanting video portrays a cathartic release of anger, with Herizen performing her unapologetic attitude flawlessly. Her vocals flick seamlessly from ethereal crooning to a menacing growl, the latter made all the more icy with damning lyrics such as,“your love is like a poison.”
