Off the back of her debut EP aLOVINGboothang, Orpington hailing artist Josie Man returns with new single ‘Just Me,’ accompanied with an isolation-filmed visual which was purely shot on an iPhone.

Here to build confidence through her honest and emotive music, Josie’s new single is an uplifting reminder to us all, that it’s totally OK to just be ourselves. Standing in solidarity with the black community, the alt-pop singer took the opportunity to further share this much needed message with the release of her song, “I know that I am privileged to be able to be myself and survive in this world and that the black community do not have that same comfort,” states Josie. “We must open our eyes to the injustices that black people are facing, step out of our comfort zones and FIGHT for justice.”

Directed by Josie and Angela Steps, the visual was a successful result of DIY creativity and green-screen editing by Malt Disney, capturing Josie’s fond memories interspersed with animations that mimic her colourful and vibrant mind.
