Rasharn Powell - Freedom [Audio]

London singer-songwriter Rasharn Powell reveals the grooving sounds of ‘Freedom’, his final song for 2020 that shows off his idiosyncratic musicality and dextrous vocals.

Powell’s latest single follows a succession of cool R&B singles that have given the emerging artist a name this year including ‘Joyride’, ‘Smithereens’ and ‘Twelvemonth’. Via flirtatious lyrics aimed towards a lover, ‘Freedom’ channels the importance of freeing yourself when life presents you with the opportunities to do so. The aptly named single taps into a feeling that’s on a lot of our minds (after a year that’s felt like a cage), while providing us with a Latin-feel rhythmic instrumental that gives us straight-up good vibes to see us into 2021.
