Romford born and bred rapper Big Tefs returns with ‘Be In The Way’ his second single of 2020, taken from his forthcoming trilogy of tracks, which we’re due to hear more about real soon.

Laced with heavy 808’s, synthesisers and an eerie piano led melody, ‘Be In The Way’ encapsulates influences of hip-hop from many eras. The track effortlessly fuses the recognisable sounds of 90’s California gangster rap however, is nothing of the sort especially as the young rapper is heavily influenced by East Coast rap. Instead, what’s been delivered here is a bubbly British hip hop tune, filled with cheekiness and vibes. “‘Be In The Way’ was actually supposed to be a quarantine freestyle song,” shares Big Tefs. He goes on to explains that due to the strong reaction on the track from his friends and team, he decided to officially release it as a single. “In the song, I’m basically putting all my cards on the table and trying to tempt a woman that caught my eye, away from her boyfriend,” explains the young rapper.

With a cinematic style in mind to pay homage to the 90’s, the official music video sees Big Tefs in and around iconic locations within London, specifically China Town and London Bridge. Check out the visual below:
