Walthamstow rapper Jeshi spouts revelation in his new single ‘Looks Like Trouble’.

Produced by Kwes Darko (Slowthai, ASAP Rocky, Pa Salieu) ‘Looks Like Trouble’ follows from the artist’s searing rap single ‘Mask On’. This second hard-hitting offering sees Jeshi exploring the long-lasting effects of going through chaotic teenage years and reflecting on how having a certain past-life during your youth can attract unfair stereotypes. Speaking on the single, Jeshi explains, “All these experiences mould you into the person you are - into the trouble they see you as.” The Brock Neal-Roberts directed visual is a dynamic depiction of Jeshi’s lyrics, bursting with the visceral emotion and rage that young people can experience and that Jeshi has waded through himself. Championing a raw, DIY approach and style in his music and performances, Jeshi’s bold voice and blistering social commentary is hard to ignore.
