Singer-songwriter Rema is a big hit with the ladies in his feel-good, catchy Summer anthem ‘Woman’.

The 20-year-old Benin City born artist, whose real name is Divine Ikubor, already made waves with the infectious single following its release this Summer after it became a hit on TikTok, inspiring the #WOMANCHALLENGE to trend on the app. For inspiration, Rema casts a wide net, with influences spanning from his West African roots to Bollywood, Trap, Afrobeats and good old pop to create his bright and dance floor ready sounds. The track’s music video is full of tongue-in-cheek braggadocio, capturing Rema as he’s flocked by beautiful, stylish women who the young artist is more than happy to accommodate. Recently crowned Apple Music’s Up Next artist, Rema is a certified hit machine, bringing out tunes to make people smile and move.

Speaking on the track, Rema has said, “‘Woman’ is a celebration. I want this video to spread love and happiness and continue to make people dance all over the world. We all need something to escape our thoughts and the struggles we are experiencing day to day.”
