H.E.R. drops the hot new hit ‘Damage’ alongside a live-feel video which captures the artist on stage.

‘Damage’ is a chilled out track that’s hard to ignore, with H.E.R.’s voice, as usual, adding that extra spark of magic. The smooth offering sees H.E.R. offer insight into her vulnerabilities via her infamous sultry vocals which meander over hypnotic beats and twinkling keys. The track’s visual was filmed at the Roxie Theatre in Los Angeles and follows H.E.R. as she enters the now dilapidated venue, to perform with a band amid a luxuriant lounge set-up. The result is a low-key but intimate atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re watching the performance in person, a welcome feeling during these concert-free times.

H.E.R. recently led a mesmerising performance on Saturday Night Live which shone a light on the #ENDSARS campaign, an anti-police brutality movement fighting to shut down Nigeria’s highly controversial Special Anti-Robbery Squad task force.
