Arlo Parks - Green Eyes [Video]

Arlo Parks drops another soothing single with her nostalgia-tinted ‘Green Eyes’, ahead of her debut album ‘Collapsed in Sunbeams’.

With her latest release, Parks continues to thoughtfully honour the muddled emotions of adolescence with honesty and care. A poet at heart, ‘Green Eyes’ is written with the same emotionally intricate lyricism seen in her previous critically acclaimed releases, ‘Black Dog’, ‘Eugene’ and ‘Hurt’. With the addition of backing vocals and guitar from US singer-songwriter Clairo, ‘Green Eyes’ gently reflects on a short-lived summertime relationship, touching on the importance of finding self-acceptance even when the world isn’t always accepting.
