Romanticism has a bad rap these days, but ultra-cool NYC collective MICHELLE are resetting the trend with their happy, heartfelt tunes which unashamedly champion earnest feelings of love, lust and infatuation. ‘UNBOUND’ is an ode to desire, that playfully pairs innocent, childlike soundscapes with flirtatious lyrics. The track follows MICHELLE’s secret recipe of retro-tinted, R&B inflected synth-pop blended with youthful, clear-cut vocals to make a lush and lighthearted listen. The song’s whimsical music video is simply the cherry on top of this musical splash of sunshine.
